CRYSTAL LAKE, Illinois—William Leach, Jr., DO, FACOG, board certified gynecologist, is now seeing patients at Mercyhealth Hospital and Physician Clinic–Crystal Lake, 875 S. Route 31, Crystal Lake.

Dr. Leach encourages patients to participate in their care decisions. “The interaction I prefer to have with patients is that of negotiation, instead of lecture,” he said. “I want patients to communicate with me what it is they want, and what they prefer. I then educate my patients about the medical problem they are experiencing, and together we can assemble a plan for their care that we both agree on. I strive to use the best available medical evidence and the most up-to-date tools and techniques in order to provide my patients with the best possible outcomes.”

After earning his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Leach served his residency at Aurora Sinai Medical Center–University of Wisconsin Medical School/Milwaukee Clinical Campus. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
