DESCRIPTION:Every Day\, Right Here in Our Community\, People Struggle to Make Ends Meet.\n\n\n\nTo help ease that burden\, the St. Vincent de Paul Conference of St. Peter's and St. Joe's works\n\ntirelessly to support individuals and families in need providing emergency food\, keeping utilities on\, and\n\nhelping prevent eviction. SVdP volunteers serve all who turn to them\, regardless of religion\, race\, or background offering compassion\, dignity\, and hope.\n\n\n\nThe Friends of the Poor  Walk is a national event created to raise awareness and vital funds for this\n\nmission. This year\, we'll join hundreds of communities across the country in walking together to fight\n\npoverty and uplift our neighbors. This year\, our walk will take place at the Spring Grove Fish Hatchery on\n\nSeptember 27\, 2025 at 10am.
