DESCRIPTION:There is an extreme lack of intergenerational all-inclusive playgrounds throughout the country.  Far too many people\, from babies through the elderly\, including those living with visible and invisible disabilities\, are left behind and not considered when a playscape is being created.  We are going to change that by building an inspiring playground that is universally designed to be a socially inclusive playground for all!  Based on the 1812 shipwrecked adventure novel\, The Swiss Family Robinson\, it is truly more than a playground.  It is a playscape for all ages and all abilities that combines the wonder of nature\, the excitement of playground equipment\, and the adventure of discovering new ideas.\n\n \n\nWe are cordially inviting you to our Castaway Soir e!  As our inaugural fundraiser\, the Castaway Soir e will be an evening of shipwrecked entertainment to raise money for the construction of the Swiss Family Robinson Adventure Playground.  Wear your best deserted island outfits and comfortable shoes (there will be some walking outside\, weather permitting).\n\n\n\nCastaways will enjoy an immersive Swiss Family Robinson Experience. Complete with full tropical pig roast\, refreshing libations\, exploration\, castaway craftsmanship\, adventure playground reveal\, silent auction items\, treasure boxes\, and a parting gift.\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP: by purchasing your tickets by June 1\, 2025.\n\nATTIRE: Casual   Shipwrecked Castaway attire encouraged\, but not required.\n\n\n\nWe've received a $500\,000 MATCHING GRANT! For every dollar we raise by July 31st\, we will receive a matching dollar up to $500\,000. So far we've raised $250\,000 THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN MATCHED!
