CASA's annual gala is a highlight of the year in Lake County and a showcase of the power that\n\neach of us has to help our neighbors in need if we choose to do so. Through that choice\, we can fight for every child's fundamental right to a safe home and the opportunity for a bright future.\n\n \n\nTERRI ZENNER AWARD HONOREE\n\nJoanna Lynn\n\n\n\nAlong with her service as a CASA Volunteer Advocate and member of the Board of Directors\, Joanna Lynn served as CASA's gala chairperson for seven consecutive years\, leading events that raised more than $2\,500\,000 for the CASA program over that time. The Board of Directors will recognize this monumental achievement this year by presenting Joanna Lynn with the 2024 Terri Zenner Award for service to children in our community.\n\n \nPROGRAM SPEAKER\n\nSanaii Williams\n\n\n\nFormer CASA youth and current pre-law major at Emory University.\n\n\n\nGRATITUDE FOR CASA'S PERMANENT HOME\n\nCASA will also recognize the people and organizations who played key roles in the 4-year\, $1\,300\,000 project to purchase and renovate the CASA offices in Vernon Hills.
