DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Stateline SHRM\, an affiliate of the Society of Human Resource Managers\, the Illinois Small Business Development Center at McHenry County College is proud to welcome Jonathan B. Kaman\, attorney with Zanck Coen Wright & Saladin\, P.C. Jonathan will provide a timely training session that will summarize employment law changes that go into effect in 2024. Over the past two years\, Illinois has made several significant changes to its laws regulating employers and employees. Given these changes\, this presentation will summarize those changes which have already gone into effect\, as well as those which are due to start in 2024. Bring your questions because once summarized\, time will be devoted to answering questions. Key takeaways: Understand the 2022 changes which significantly alter non-compete/ non-solicitation agreements.
