St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk

Every Day, Right Here in Our Community, People Struggle to Make Ends Meet.

To help ease that burden, the St. Vincent de Paul Conference of St. Peter’s and St. Joe’s works
tirelessly to support individuals and families in need—providing emergency food, keeping utilities on, and
helping prevent eviction. SVdP volunteers serve all who turn to them, regardless of religion, race, or background—offering compassion, dignity, and hope.

The Friends of the Poor® Walk is a national event created to raise awareness and vital funds for this
mission. This year, we’ll join hundreds of communities across the country in walking together to fight
poverty and uplift our neighbors. This year, our walk will take place at the Spring Grove Fish Hatchery on
September 27, 2025 at 10am.
